A Teletubbies Reboot Will Be Launching On Netflix On November 14This Will Be the Second Teletubbies Reboot Since the Original Show

According to Netflix, each episode will feature an original Tummy Tale and have the entire family singing and dancing along. Whether or not that’s the case remains to be seen though, as revivals and reunions have been quite common recently and not all of them have been successful. Ready or not, though, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po will all return on screen soon.

The New Teletubbies Will Have a Lineup of Stars Playing the Characters

The revival of the show is set to feature the voices of stars that parents will surely recognize. Tituss Burgess will be the narrator with Jeremiah Krage as Tinky Winky, Nick Kellington as Dipsy, Rebecca Hyland as Laa-Laa, and Rachelle Beinart as Po. Julia Pulo will be the one to host Tummy Tales. Hyland previously played the yellow Teletubby, Laa-Laa, in the 2015 reboot. Teletubbies was created by Andrew Davenport and aired back in 1997. It went on to earn numerous BAFTA nods and two Daytime Emmy nominations. The original series aired its final original episode in 2001 and is still shown in countries around the world. Over the years, it’s aired in over 120 countries and in 45 languages.

Netflix is also dropping other new shows besides Teletubbies. Spirit Rangers will premiere on October 10 and Princess Power is all set for 2023. Spirit Rangers is a show inspired by Native American stories while Princess Power is based on a best-selling book series called Princesses Wear Pants and is co-written by TODAY co-anchor Savanah Guthrie.
